As you can see, the bride, Ellen, has a classic look for her Metropolitan Chic wedding in Providence, RI! Ellen's wedding took place at Skyline at Waterplace Park. This gorgeous, chic, intimate wedding venue tucked away in Providence, RI! Enjoy beautiful city views of Providence, while you celebrate your special day and sip some bubbly with your loved ones! Seriously, this place is gorg!!
We started quite early in the morning on a gloomy Thursday. Yup, Ellen wanted to get married on a Thursday! Nowadays, with the covid19 pandemic making us play catch up from the delayed 2020 wedding season, weekday weddings are becoming more and more common. But either way, the celebration was no less than fantastic!!
The bride Ellen was the only person who requested my makeup services that day, so it was a quick job for me! Ellen actually got ready at the venue, which made things really easy for her! All she had to do was get all of her things together, and show up! Can't be easier than that, am I right?!
And just look at Ellen! What a stunning bride!! Now, Ellen loves a heavier makeup look, with a touch of glam. Exactly what we did here! Gorgeous skin, warm, peachy tones, eyeliner, and big, fluffy eyelashes, to complete her wedding day makeup look! This warm, lovely makeup look will compliment all of the most chicest dresses that flaunt every inch of the concrete jungle! The warm, peachy color I used throughout Ellen's makeup look is perfect for spring and summer weddings. Something about this color tone that just works so well during those seasons.
Before I knew it, Ellen was dressed and ready for her wedding day! Oh my gosh, it just flew by! But before I forget, let me tell you how Ellen found me.
Ellen contacted her wedding planner in desperate search of a makeup artist about 60 days before her wedding day. Can you believe that beauties, 2 months before her wedding day! Yikes!
She admits that she just completely forgot about hiring a makeup artist on her wedding day, and was scrambling to find an available artist. Well, lo and behold, I was available! And what a relief it was for her that I was available to provide Ellen with a lovely makeup look on her wedding day. Now back to the wedding day!
It was just so lovely, and Ellen is just the sweetest of people! She was so relieved and excited to have her full wedding makeup look come to life! Ellen, thank you so much for allowing me to be by your side while you get ready for such an important day. It means the world to me when brides choose me!!
