Hey beauties, welcome back to Creative Contour By Carla ®! Today, I am introducing you all to the concept of Makeup Concierge, what it is, and why you should hire one.
So let's get into it. What is a Makeup Concierge?
A Makeup Concierge is a makeup artist, but not just any old makeup artist. A Makeup Concierge is an experienced, professional makeup artist who helps you coordinate the right aspects of your makeup experience.
What exactly does that mean?
Great question! Basically, in addition to applying your makeup, I can help coordinate other aspects needed for your makeup experience. For example, if you are ready to take a makeup lesson, but do not know what to buy, I can help you shop for the right products. If you are speaking at an event, I can coordinate the right space for you to have your makeup done before going on stage.
Speakers + Events
Really, it's having a second set of hands, should you need them for your makeup experience! I've coordinated with local event venues and hotels when my clients speak on stage and participate in panels. I've noticed that they feel their best and most confident when they have me by their side. They feel relieved that I found a space to help get them glammed up before their timeslot, and of course there is always a pep talk (all my beauties know this comes with the territory).

More often than not, I'm coordinating with someone associated with the events my clients attend. Especially my speakers! They usually are given a schedule and an arrival time for the venue by the event coordinator. I always ask when we host your complimentary phone consult for this type of information, as it's necessary, and gives you more time to focus on the topics you are going to talk about.
My clients are usually relieved not to have to worry about something like this. And more often than not, we get to start your day in a fun way! I've also had a few of my clients ask me to stay after the initial makeup application, as sometimes they will speak, and then come back to the stage for a panel, or emcee opportunities, etc. It's not a problem at all! When we chat initially, I just ask that you bring this to my attention, so I can coordinate accordingly, because the event space needs to be aware.
I've even had one of my speaker clients hire me, and then tell some of their peers, and before you know it, I'm on-site for a few of the speakers and touching them up as needed! I'm happy to provide this option for any of my beauties who need it, as I know the relief it provides! Just to take it off of your shoulders!

Makeup Classes + Shopping
So I want to specify the other way a Makeup Concierge assists you during your makeup experience. When you are looking to learn a great makeup look to apply on your own, you probably need a little help. My clients are ready for a class, but sometimes their makeup has expired, or they just don't like the products that they have. Cue your Makeup Concierge!
I am happy to take you shopping to find the right makeup products for your ideal makeup look. I cannot think of a better, more fun way to find the best makeup products for you!
And here's the other thing: you don't have to worry about pushy sales associates selling you random things you don't need, or the overwhelm that comes from walking into the makeup store. I'll be right by your side with researched recommendations that I believe will work best for you. All you have to do is test out products and buy the ones you like! It's really that easy, beauties!
